TOEFL iBT Test of English as a Foreign Language Internet-Based Test

TOEFL iBT (Test of English as a Foreign Language Internet-Based Test) has been one of the most popular English language proficiency tests that is conducted academically and professionally all over the world. It has been given by Educational Testing Service and has been recognized by thousands of universities, colleges and organizations as an evidence of possession of English language skill by the students who intend to study in English speaking places. The TOEFL iBT can be administered in two major forms: the Test Center version in which one takes the test on a computer at an authorized testing facility and the Home Edition in which one takes the test at home but is monitored online by a remote proctor to ensure the security of the exam. The whole test lasts roughly 2 hours and measures four key skills in the language, which include Reading, Listening, Speaking, and Writing.
